Minimum of 12 years
work experience with different technologies – Familiarity with multiple
technologies used in large IT organizations is necessary and required. Deep

with top IT vendors in India and understanding of their working model will be a
plus.
Description
Apple is looking for a
technical project manager, to help ensure the highest levels of customer
satisfaction, technical excellence, quality and consistency at a number of IT
outsourcing Vendor sites in the region. In this role you will oversee key
projects at our vendor partners to implement top quality solutions for our
customers. You will be responsible for ensuring and identifying risks on key
projects and helping the vendor do course correction in time. Reporting to the
Manager of the project support team your role will be to liaise with the
project teams at corporate office - understanding the scope, design and
timelines of their projects. You will then bridge the gaps that may exist
between the offshore vendor teams and the onsite team. You will be expected to
conduct regular reviews and discussions with the offshore development teams,
drilling into the architectural designs, coding practices and test
methodologies. You should be able to identify potential areas of contention
that could impact the project execution and work on correcting them. You would
also be expected to address any gaps in the understanding between the offshore
team and the project team at corporate.
