PubMatic is looking for Senior Engineer with experience in designing and implementing distributed highly scalable systems. As a member in BigData team in PubMatic, the engineer will be responsible

for designing and developing key components and features to build a best in class Big Data software products using Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, Map/Reduce, Hive, HBase etc) for reporting & analytics on a petabyte scale data.

Responsibilities:

 Primary responsibilities will include the design, development, unit testing the Hadoop/MapReduce applications

 Work on the scalability, resilience, and efficiency of backend components, particularly Hadoop.

 You will be contributing in enhancing/building up near real-time (low latency) infrastructure for real time reporting & analytics.

 Candidates should have significant Hadoop experience (knowledge).

 In addition, he/she must be proficient in a wide-range of relational databases, operating systems and high-availability environments including MySQL, Unix, Linux.

 Debug runtime problems and understand the interactions between systems

 Strong Shell programming experience is also required for creating automation programs.

Work in a team-oriented environment.
