is looking for a Technical Program Manager to work as part of a
cross-functional team to decrease our dependence on commercially licensed
software. This team seeks out opportunities to eliminate license costs while
providing appropriate tools and capabilities that result in an excellent user
experience. The value that this team delivers is directly measurable in
elimination or avoidance of license costs.
In this role you will collaborate with the
engineering teams to deliver the best products with most efficient use of
resources and technologies. You will work with all the stakeholders to assemble
project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed,
and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting
project milestones. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide
escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus
technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business
benefit.
Successful candidates will have a technical
background, be detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities. You
should not only be passionate about delivering extensible, on-time solutions,
but should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of
high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to
performance metrics, continuous process improvement and mentorship.
Interact with Project Sponsors, Technical
Program Managers and multiple Engineering Teams to define and deliver complex
features.
Lead the effective and efficient delivery of
the large, complex projects.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation
management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs
versus technical constraints.
Maximize resources for the greater good of the
organization.
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and
risks at multiple levels.
Create, maintain and disseminate project information
to stakeholders.
Drive effective teamwork, communication,
collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing
priorities.

Job Summary:
Drive better and quicker business decisions
through the design and development of strategic, focused, and impactful sale
reports using SSRS, Crystal Reports
and a wide array of leads, sales, and inventory
data. Support ad hoc information requests and questions from sales teams and
management when making tactical
and strategic decisions.
Design and develop reports using SSRS.
Convert Crystal Reports to SSRS.
Collaborate with management and sales reps on
report requirements, data filters and presentation.
Develop SQL queries to fulfill ad-hoc
information requests and questions from sales teams and management.
Convert common SQL queries into repeatable
processes and stored procedures for daily reports.
Be responsible for the on-going maintenance of
existing reports in both an SSRS and Business Objects/Crystal Reports
environment, keeping distribution lists
up to date and fixing any emergent errors.
Fetch raw numbers from the database and
transform them into graphic presentations using Excel.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in SQL query development.
Proficiency in SSRS, including data filtering,
report design and publishing.
Proficiency in Crystal Reports, including data
filtering, report design, and design of graphs.
Proficiency in Excel.
Proficiency in StatTools, especially in
performing regressions using this tool.
Advanced understanding of statistics and
statistic concepts like regressions, averages, medians, distributions and
percentages
