Email Marketing Executive

Overall Role and Responsibilities:

Emailing companies client database via eshot and a combination of lead generation methods.

Key tasks and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain email campaigns on an internal basis.
Manage and maintain contact email database, with a thorough understanding of email spam policies.
Ensure we are fully compliant with the latest email marketing etiquette.
Ensure the Company is compliant and registered with Data Protection and make sure Privacy Policies reflect how we use and store client data.
Create and manage set of html templates which you will populate.
Write creative and sticky email content
Liaise with the Website editor to identify current and hot topics to be included in the newsletters.
Manage and assign all inbound leads generated by the corporate site, emails and any other marketing activities.
Achieve your monthly target of generating 100 new leads.
Provide a full update on email campaigns in terms of deliverability, open ratios, unsubscribe, click throughs.

Key Qualifications and Attributes:
The ideal candidate will
demonstrate they can plan and prioritise their own time and workload to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met on time and to the required standard
understand the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting
have experience of email campaigns including bulk eshots campaigns, newsletters, and market specific targeting – not essential
have meticulous attention to detail  to ensure messages are consistent in terms of voice, strategy and brand
have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create rapport with colleagues, clients and management
have exceptional written skills and any experience of copywriting and PR would be advantageous
This ideal candidate will be completely at ease working with spreadsheets, exporting and importing data, analysing date and identifying trends with the ability to compile a comprehensive commentary. be willing to take responsibility, show initiative, be a problem solver and safe pair of hands
be from business support services background or from a media agency. An Internet based industry background would be particularly desirable.
