Key Responsibilities:
Requirements analysis, system design and object modelling of new software products.
Development of new product architecture and functionality.
Develop test suites and automated test procedures.
Assist in the successful delivery of client solutions, client support and systems implementations.
Enhance and maintain existing software products as required.
Mentorng junior to intermediate developers.
Mandatory technical skills:
Minimum 4 years commercial software development experience in an OO environment.
A strong understanding on Object oriented analysis and design principles.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience with .net framework and C#.
Experience with SQL scripts and SQL Server database design beneficial.
Experience developing graphical user interfaces.
C++, Java, C# or Delphi language background - deep understanding of OO language essential.
A strong academic track record in either Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Statistics or Engineering degree.
A steady commercial work history
Other requirements:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
A genuine passion for OO programming.
A genuine interest in Maths.
Personable and able to build solid professional relationships.
A willingness to transfer skills to the junior developers.
