This is a varied position; the Media & Promotions Executive/ Online Marketing Assistant will be an enthusiastic graduate with excellent communication skills and a passion for the web. Your role will involve managing and building up relationships with telecommunications companies, which include the most well known telecomms brands in the India. The Media & Promotions Executive/ Online Marketing Assistant will be acting as the first point of contact for advertisers and retailers, networks and agencies, negotiating exclusive deals and partnerships and better rates with telecommunication companies and affiliate networks, analysing performance and monitoring my client’s price comparison website. The Media & Promotions Executive/ Online Marketing Assistant will also work closely with the Partnerships Manager and the senior Directors and have ad hoc admin and analytical duties.
The ideal candidate for the Media & Promotions Executive/ Online Marketing Assistant will be a bright graduate with a 2.1 or a 1st gained at a good university. Your degree can be in any discipline but this job may appeal more to marketing, PR or online media graduates. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong commercial awareness. The Media & Promotions Executive/ Online Marketing Assistant will be confident, articulate, self-motivated and pragmatic. You will work well to targets and be happy to take on responsibility for multiple projects working independently and as part of a team.
The Media & Promotions Executive/ Online Marketing Assistant will be comfortable presenting and speaking on the phone and face to face, have strong numeracy and IT skills, and be competent working with numbers and basic statistical data. A love of the web and a genuine desire to work in the online industry is essential, whereas previous experience of working in online marketing, email marketing, affiliate marketing or an agency environment is a distinct advantage. Media & Promotions Executives or Online Marketing Assistants with a second major European language (such as French, Spanish, German, Italian or Dutch), along with native level English, will also be of interest.
