The Maintenance Technician will work with the
Group Operations Department to improve the appearance and safety of our rental
branches through regular repairs, maintenance and cleaning.
This person will be
responsible for oversight and performance of painting, minor plumbing and
electrical, grounds keeping, and custodial work. A vehicle is supplied for
transportation and storage of tools, equipment and materials. Travel is
required throughout the state of IN, including overnights periodically, and
requires a schedule of 40-45 hours/week. A typical week will consist of four 10
hour days (with an hour for lunch) and a half day; however, the position
requires availability on call during evening hours which would result in the
adjustment of the weekly schedule if evening hours are required. 25% of the
year (for about a month at a time three times per year), a typical week will
consist of working nights to clean carpets while our branches are closed.
Position may require overtime as directed by the Operations Manager.
Timely completion of work orders generated by
call-in requests or preventative maintenance scheduled
General maintenance and repair work including:
Interior and exterior painting
Ceiling tile replacement
Light bulb and ballast replacement
Vacuum repair and maintenance
Minor drywall repair
Basic plumbing repair/knowledge and drain
cleaning
Lot striping
Landscaping, snow removal
Window cleaning
Carpet cleaning
Disposal and recycling of electronic equipment
and light bulbs
Basic MSDS knowledge and Health and Safety
knowledge
Exhibit a professional appearance and comply
with all uniform requirements
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
