Job Description
We are in search of a Microsoft Lync Technical
Consultant to participate in a Lync 2013 deployment project, which includes
integration to both Cisco UCM and Cisco VCS infrastructure. This will be a
global Lync 2013 deployment to all of its end users, over a period of 10
months. The right candidate will have experience playing a lead technical role
in the project and leverage their experience to guide and support the entire
deployment.
Provide guidance and support for the Hybrid Lync
2013 deployment, including enterprise voice
Validate the current build and give guidance for
potential improvements pre-deployment
Provide expertise on integrating Lync to other
Unified Communications systems, primarily Cisco
Ownership of project related technical issues.
Leadership in driving resolution with support from the larger project team
Build and Support Documentation for the
operationalization of the system post project
Support, optimize and maintain MS LYNC
infrastructure with high availability
Qualifications:
5+ years of IT work experience with at least 3+
years’ experience in Microsoft OCS/Lync Microsoft Lync certification required
Experience deploying and configuring of Lync
Server
Voice
Integration with Lync experience required
Experience with Lync with full Voice and Video
integration is highly desired
VoIP
experience configuring, setup, and implementation
Experience with SIP, SIP Trunk integration
Cisco Call
Manager, VoIP experience a plus
Experience with Smart Lync Meeting Room
systems a plus
