Desktop Support Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned, troubleshoot and assist users with various applications


Investigate and resolve software and hardware problems

Respond promptly and appropriately in a demanding environment

Supporting and replacing desktop, laptop, printer, PDA, and other end-user firm-standard hardware,
parts and peripherals as needed

Provide "all-levels" technical support assistance

Developing and updating as necessary detailed documentation on software configurations, deployment
processes, packaging procedures and test scripts

Support all desktop functions

Perform maintenance on desktops

Perform some network analysis where requested, then escalate when needs
Requirements
Great communication and organizational skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems

Microsoft Office Application skills

software and hardware troubleshooting skills

knowledge of desktop images, deployment of desktop environments

Ability to work in a team environment and self starter
