The SAP BW/Business Objects Reporting Analyst
will be responsible for development projects and production support for the
BW/Business Objects reporting environment at Lionsgate.
Core responsibilities will include designing,
testing, implementing, documenting and maintaining reporting solutions on
Lionsgate’s SAP BW and SAP Business Object systems. He/she will be able to communicate
effectively with the user community to determine requirements and will use
his/her strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into reporting
solutions. He/she will excel in a team
environment, working with IT Functional Teams and BI Architect. He/she will be
dedicated to expanding his/her knowledge base as well as to sharing that
knowledge with others. The ability to
independently complete individual tasks in a dynamic environment is imperative,
as is the ability to coordinate efforts with others toward achieving
departmental and company goals.
The Reporting Analyst Business Intelligence is
responsible for:

Working with the Lionsgate user community, IT Functional Teams and SAP
BI team to define business issues and solutions.
·
Translating business requirements into reporting requirements. Designing, testing and implementing reports
based on user requirements and technical deign using SAP BW and SAP Business
Object reporting tools such as Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Analysis for
office and Bex.
·
Assisting users with development of BW BEx and Business Objects Webi and
Crystal reports.
·
Resolving Production Support Issues in the area of SAP BW and Business
Objects reporting
·
User training
·
Evaluating new functionality delivered by SAP.
·
Ensuring completeness and accuracy of project and production support
documentation.
·
Reporting to management regarding project and production support status.
Requirements:
· 3
- 5 years of experience developing Reporting Solutions using SAP Business
Objects Reporting Tools such as Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports.
·
Knowledge of BW BEx 7.x Query and Work Book Configuration.
·
Excel Skills
·
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
Additional skills preferred:
·
Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in Information Systems,
Business, Computer Science or Engineering preferred but not required.
·
Entertainment industry experience.
·
Experience with Excel VBA.
·
Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 (creating and modifying SQL tables;
creating and modifying of stored procedures)
·
Functional Knowledge of SAP Modules
·
Experience or formal training in Crystal for Enterprise.
