Utilize 3D tools and Smart P&IDs to provide support to Engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail, drawings, assembly drawings, sketches &. diagrams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Make copies of drawings and maintains information regarding changes to the drawings. Makes simple decisions and consult the Engineers and or Supervisor to resolve issues and problems. Must have solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology. Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. Familiarity with CAD equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-5 years experience in industrial piping and mechanical design.
Municipal experience is a plus.
Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in and be proficient in 3D Design Software and Smart P&IDs.
Must have industrial experience.
Must have associate's degree in Computer Aided Drafting and math, and/or equivalent s experience and training.
Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients, employees and the general public in a professional appearance and manner.
