You will also manage the full lifecycle of the
Auction event including the creation of the event,
the supplier development, actual live auction
event (with stakeholder viewing/participation)
. This
position will require the incumbent to work in a
multifaceted and cross functional environment with
a firm understanding of sourcing, procurement,
operations and service support tied to e-commerce,
sourcing strategies, and solid knowledge of
system technology.
Analyze spend to identify reverse auction
opportunities across different LOB (line of business,
categories and spend channels
Conduct outreach program to promote the usage of
reverse auction as a sourcing tool across SPS
(Sourcing and Procurement Services) and in the
LOBs
Develop and manage end-to-end auction process
that deliver high customer satisfaction
Develop strong partnerships with Ariba including
supplier communication, periodic supplier review,
issue resolution, through telephone, face-to-face
and email communication channel. Interact with
suppliers' senior management as part of supplier
management
Contribute to governance and control programs to
ensure business continuity, protect company assets
and comply with corporate and regulatory policies
Direct interaction but not limited to the
Strategic Sourcing, LOB, Project, Asset and Finance
management teams to ensure contract and
financial approvals are adhered and continually supported
Conduct and manage multiple Reverse Auction
events simultaneously including scope definition, event
setup, hosting multiple live events
Develop contract and SOW for goods and services
as part of value realization of auction events
Continuously review the current state of our
Reverse Auction Service to ensure it aligns with
overall objectives and direction of the SPS
organization.
Participate in continuous learning and
professional development
Good knowledge of Reverse Auction.
Good customer service skills including
consultative and conflict resolution
Skillful in supporting cross-functional
cooperation and building strong working relationships
between key internal stakeholders.
Strong experience with sourcing processes such
as RFx, eAuction, SOW, MSA
Principle practices applicable to corporate and
industry procurement standards & regulations
Logical reasoning, analytical and problem
solving skills/methodology
Understand, interpret contract terms and
conditions as they relate to sourcing and procurement
support
Understand concepts, standards and techniques
relating to technical/legal business writing and able
to work with contracts and able to QA contracts
Ability to formulate conclusions and recommend
courses of action
Good oral and written communication skills
A Bachelor's Degree is desired
