Reporting to the Team Leader Major Works you
will co-ordinate and plan maintenance, process, engineering and contractor
activities for maintenance shutdowns with the aim to minimise downtime and
utilise resources efficiently within EHS guidelines. Planning and scheduling
nominated major and unit shutdown activities incorporating all shutdown
requests, you will develop and combine work scopes from Process, Maintenance
and Projects into one over all schedule and develop work packages for all trade
disciplines. Developing an overall schedule for all activities showing the
critical path and optimizing the use of resources and personnel for all work,
you will liaise with and coordinate contractors and specialised equipment for
use in the shutdown and with on site Area Planners and Maintenance Supervisors
to carry out pre-shutdown preparation work and other maintenance work during
the shutdown. Capturing an accurate record of activities during the outage and
inputting into Maximo, you will close out all activities in Maximo and in the
work packs relating to the shutdown activities. You will adopt safe work
practices and use any equipment provided for health and safety purposes in
accordance with Safety Management System.
With a Trade background or relevant experience,
you will have a strong background of experience in shutdown, maintenance, or
project planning, with oil and gas industry experience desirable. You will have
good computer literacy with experience utlising Maximo, SAP or Primavera a
definite advantage.
