Looking for highly motivated and experienced architects to work on
developing this search experience. As a member of the team your role would be
to architect,
design and implement highly scalable infrastructure to support
this experience. You should be willing to roll up your sleeve and dive into
solving problems. Cross team collaboration, evaluation of various platforms and
recommending, prototyping and implementing appropriate technologies should be
your forte. You would also be mentoring and guiding highly talented individuals
in the team.
B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent and at least
12+ years of development experience in a UNIX environment with strong knowledge
of OS internals and tuning.
12+ years experience with strong hand on
Java skills with knowledge of C++ and scripting in Perl/Shell scripts
Worked on complex products and owning end
to end architecture for those products.
Worked in an environment that requires
cross functional/distributed team interactions
Ability to work with product owners and
make decisions regarding feature/architecture tradeoffs and feasibility
analysis.
Experience in building high performance
highly scalable web applications
Hands on knowledge of tools for ensuring
high performance and scalability.
Hands on experience with distributed
computing platforms
Strong with data structures and algorithms
Strong problem solving skills
Team Player, flexible, independent
innovative
Strong communication skills.
Strong Technical leadership qualities
Preferred
Experience with search engine relevancy
tuning and ranking
Experience with LAMP technology stack or
tomcat a plus.
Experience with Hadoop and Pig
Experience with Data mining / machine
learning / NLP.
Strong understanding of the Agile
methodologies
Experience with unit testing frameworks.
