Develop/improve standardized test data management processes/guidelines and QA environment configuration; / ensure these processes are used throughout the system development life cycle of a project.

In this QA Analyst role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring quality management, assurance and control, as well as testing and compliance services for software products, systems and platforms. You will create blueprints and master plans for defining and implementing test data management practices and QA/test environments, establish and enforce best practices in the generation of test data for cross-system integration testing, enhance fully-automated CI test environment processes, and design/ implement load testing and performance testing environments.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in MIS and a minimum of 5 years advanced IT experience working within the full QA testing lifecycle. A background in DBA, data development or data analytics is preferred.

Knowledge and experience should include technical architecture, automated testing and programming tools and scripting, data-driven automated testing methodology and knowledge of information security and compliance concepts such as PII, PCI, HIPAA and SOX. Must be able to perform multiple tasks of high complexity, plan and meet commitments, identify and document defects and manage projects. Additionally, must have strong verbal communication and technical documentation writing skills. An understanding of the mortgage lending and mortgage insurance industry is desired.

Quality Assurance Analyst

The job: The successful candidate will be responsible for the test cases and test execution for individual projects .The role involves planning, hands on testing and test reporting.

The environment: You will be an integral part of a small and well supported team. Your testing expertise and enthusiasm will be called upon by various project teams within the Product Development team. The atmosphere is fun and energetic, whilst remaining focused on our business goals.

The skills and experience required: You will be a skilled software tester with around 3+ years testing experience. This will include:
Experience creating functional and regression test cases based on project documentation
Experience executing functional, system and regression tests and proven exposure to testing techniques and methods, such as boundary testing, negative/positive testing etc
Experience with non-functional testing  such as load & performance, usability, fail over/recovery and security
Experience using  Automated Test tools, defect tracking tools and test case tools
Exposure to Test Planning and Test Strategies
Have a good understanding at a technical level of windows platforms and Microsoft databases specifically SQL server
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work in a close team environment for reviews, document walkthroughs, design, testing and planning documentation
Proven understanding of the SDLC / Testing processes and an ISTQB certification could be advantage over other applicants
Experience working in a similar job role within a software development organisation or financial institution
