About the Job
2-5+ years' experience in repair shop management for Rock Crushers or Heavy Equipment encompassing mechanical repair, machine shop, welding and field service. This business is a profit center, and requires a solid background in the technical aspects of machine mechanical repair, weld technique, machining and field repair as well as running a profitable business. Safety program experience desired.
Must have superior ability to work well with customers, vendors and employees to balance the sales mix with available man hours and resources, while controlling both fixed and variable costs. Must be hands on, quick to grasp situations and opportunities; be a logical, steady planner and doer; and be looking for long-term stability and growth. This is a "hands-on" position, much like a "player/coach."
