RIS Product Deployment

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the direct management of technical staff responsible for the design and delivery which includes:
  • The recruitment, hiring and retention of highly skilled technical team members
  • Insuring the technical Staff is enabled to fulfill their assignments through effective training
  • The scheduling and assignment of resources to projects
  • Actively participate with R&D on developing the services delivery of new products
  • Management of the upgrade process for the RIS System Install base
  • Adhere to the ITIL based organizational structure and associated processes
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Proven leadership skills in managing a diverse technical team that consist of 20+ members
  • Extensive technical knowledge of Healthcare IT solutions
  • Ability to oversee the design, implement and deploy technology-based solutions
  • High level of written and verbal communication skill
  • Proven experience managing business financials that include a Profit/Loss center of Services
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience. An MBA is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience with implementations and/or services in IT Healthcare
  • Develop remote deployment technologies that facilitate cost savings and customer satisfaction
  • Interface with Service Engineering, R&D and Commercialization teams to ensure common deployment practices
  • Utilize install feedback in increase deployment effectiveness
  • Design and institute remote support strategies for new installs
  • Provide feedback as warranted to Service Engineering, R&D and Commercialization teams
  • Create documentation requirements that are necessary to build solutions “pre-delivery”.
  • Active participant on product commercialization teams
  • Commercialization readiness assessments
Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
