SAP Basis Administrator

The role will require maintaining an in-depth knowledge of relevant technical SAP system information. You will provide expert advice regarding the application, manage the execution or supervision of specialised SAP tasks & projects. Promote SAP applications with customers, suppliers and partners, and advises those responsible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains specialist technical knowledge at a high level by, reading relevant literature, attending conferences & seminars and engaging with professional bodies.
• Provides advice, both reactively and proactively, to those engaged in activities where the technical specialism is applicable, including those in areas such as budgetary and financial planning, litigation, legislation, and health and safety. 
• Promotes SAP applications with customers, suppliers and partners, and advises those responsible, recognising opportunities for effective exploitation. 
• Carries out specific assignments related SAP either alone or as part of a team. 
• Provides quality assurance of activities involving SAP which is carried out by self or others. 

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record of working as a Basis Administrator on R3, CRM and BW environments
• Proficient in technical knowledge to support all the Yell SAP environments
• Aware of latest products and technologies within the SAP market place
• Good understanding of SAP authorization for CRM & R3 environments
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of working as a SAP Basis administrator within a range of SAP environments.
• Familiar with methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects.
