Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Minimum 0-5 years experience direct industry experience or
Experience in the Mobile Equipment Manufacturing (i.e. Farm/Agricultural, Fire Truck, Pavers)
Design experience w/Inventor, a plus
Previous New Product Development
Previous experience trouble-shooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, water
Sales Support Activities
BOMs
Excellent verbal and written communication

Your daily responsibilities will include:
1)      Develop and mentor current engineering personnel.
a. Engage and teach designers on a technical level as well as a personal development level.
b. Expand their level of responsibilities as time and abilities warrant.
2. Production support activities
a. Order configuration and support documentation
b. Bill of material creation/maintenance
c. Item master creation/maintenance
d. Shop floor Q&A involvement
e. Current product modification/improvements
f. System trouble shooting, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and water
g. Change management
h. Purchasing technical support
3. Sales support activities
a. Sales take off pricing and documentation
b. Technical resource
c. Field service support
4. Product development activities
a. New product evaluation
b. Drawing and system analysis/creation
c. Strategic product planning
5. Departmental administration
a. Budget management and development
