Perform research on various platforms such as: VMWare ESX 4, Windows 2008, SQL2008
Find the best configuration/solution to deploy the software on the platforms to
a) Maximize End-user experience (Study Insertion rate/Study display performance)
b) Minimize cost (Hardware, License, Footprint)
Run the validation of the software on the new platform
Validate new Workstation for best performance: DELL, HP, SAS Drives, PERC Controller
Video Cards: Matrox/ATI/ Barco
Monitors: Barco/Totoku/ Eizo/ NEC
Resolution: 1 MP/2MP/3 MP/5 MP/Combination of these
Work closely with the Performance team to assess the new hardware
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2+ years of hardware validation experience
